Hello!

My name is Mila Lovecky, I am an illustrator currently based in Milwaukee. My love for illustrations is deeply rooted in my work and the process of making whimsical animal characters with traditional media! 

I am currently majoring in illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) and am excited to be graduating in the spring of 2026. My work is a mix of media, from watercolor, gouache, colored pencils and occasionally printmaking. Ultimately, my illustrations are about joy and connection. I want my work to make people smile and to be reminded of the little wonders in the world around them! Aside from my practice, I love cooking for family, gardening and staying active through the gym and pilates.
